I can’t say enough good things about Little Tykes Preschool and Daycare Center. From day one, the entire team has been warm, supportive, and incredibly professional. my daughter started in little tykes august 2025, and she loves it. she learns so much everyday & she is so happy when getting dropped off/picked up. she actually wasn’t speaking alot before going, and now since going, her speech and vocabulary is excellent. they treat your kids like there own. I totally recommend this daycare/preschool to anyone looking to putting there kids in one. this was my first time looking for one and we found the right one.

Our son started attending Little Tykes when he was a year and a half and recently he graduated PreK-4 program. We couldn't be any happier with the school. The teachers are excellent and the school has a lot of different activities for early learning. We loved the projects our son brought daily and that we could read his weekly program to discuss his school work. We love how the areas and the program are organized and appreciate our son's progress over the years at Little Tykes. Many thanks to Lyttle Tykes' teachers and staff!

Little Tykes was such an amazing school for my daughter! She learned so much in her prek 4 ! She was fully prepared for her new year in big girl school ( kindergarten) So much fun on their summer program!! Full of science and art! Little Tykes is an intimate childcare center, who I trust with my kids. Teachers in all classes pay very close attention to each child. Both of my kids, one in the preschool and one, who was in the infant and recently now in the toddler room, have learned so much! They spend time at the end of the day letting you know how the day was. Pictures are posted to see what is going on during the day! I love that I can message my kids’ teachers with any questions through the app. The crafts that come home with my like are adorable.

This was my first time enrolling my 1 year old daughter into a day care program and honestly it has been a great experience so far. My daughter was not repeating any words prior to starting and in just 2 months she was already starting to talk. The teachers have a very good communication with parents and are on top in keeping you informed and are always doing fun activities with the kids. My daughter sometimes does not want to leave and that says alot! We love it!

I absolutely love Little Tykes Preschool. My son Christopher started off in the babies room. He is now in the preschool program and learning so much each and everyday. The staff is so loving and communicate so well with the parents.

My daughters have been attending Little Tykes since my 5 year old was 3 months old! I have always felt so secure that they are in safe, loving hands. The activities and learning opportunities they provide made my older daughter Kindergarten ready and she has excelled academically! I attribute much of that to her Little Tykes experience. My 2 year old's vocabulary and counting skills surpass many of her peers in our circle of friends. I love that there are so many opportunities during the day to learn, but also to PLAY and practice their social skills. I would highly recommend Little Tykes to any parent looking for a safe, loving, happy environment for their child.

Can my child join even if they attend public Pre-K somewhere else?

Yes! Little Tykes welcome children enrolled in local public Pre-K, Kindergarten, or specialized programs. Our Before & After Care programs are designed to bridge the gap before and after their school day, so your child has a safe and familiar place to start and end each day.

Do you offer care during school closings or half-days?

Yes! We’re open for most school breaks, early dismissals, and scheduled holidays. Families enrolled in our Before & After + Holidays program receive full-day coverage on these days — providing dependable care when schools are closed.

Is transportation provided to or from public Pre-K?

Transportation is not included; however, families may arrange transportation through their school district or a private provider. Many families choose Little Tykes specifically because we offer on-site convenience — eliminating the need for busing for younger children.

Will financial assistance or subsidies cover Before & After Care, even if my child attends public preschool or another program?

In most cases, yes. If your family is approved through NJ Child Care Assistance (CCAP), WFNJ Cash Assistance, or local agencies such as 4Cs, Programs for Parents, or Division of Child Care Resources, funding can help cover Before & After Care costs — even if your child attends a public program during the day.

If the subsidy doesn’t fully cover tuition, families are simply responsible for the difference as a weekly copay.
