To evaluate and improve our Services, products, marketing, and your experience. Tour bookings and your choices

When you book a visit, we use your contact information to confirm your booking, send reminders, answer questions, and follow up about your visit and enrollment inquiry. These service-related messages are separate from optional marketing and advertising uses.

We may also use your contact information for marketing, advertising measurement, and improving the family experience, as explained in this policy and subject to your choices and applicable law. Where consent is required, we ask for it. Booking a visit does not override your cookie choices, marketing opt-outs, or any right to decline or withdraw consent. You do not have to agree to optional advertising measurement to book a tour.

3. WHEN AND WITH WHOM DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We may share information with providers that help us schedule visits, communicate with families, operate our services, and measure advertising, as well as in the situations below.

Software and service providers

We use third-party software and service providers to manage bookings, communicate with families, operate our services, and support analytics and advertising measurement. These providers may process personal information needed to perform services on our behalf.

Advertising measurement and hashed contact information

Subject to your choices and any consent required by law, we may share hashed contact information, such as a parent or guardian’s email address, and related interaction information with third-party advertising and measurement providers to understand the effectiveness of our advertising. Hashing converts contact information into a coded value before it is shared for this purpose.

Advertising and measurement providers may match hashed contact information with information they hold to measure ad performance and help us improve our advertising. Hashing helps protect the original contact information, but does not make it anonymous. Children’s names, dates of birth, health information, and other sensitive information are excluded from our advertising measurement uploads.

Business Transfers. We may share or transfer your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.

Embedded maps and other features. Third-party providers may process information when you use embedded features on our website, subject to their privacy practices and your applicable choices.

7. DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM MINORS?

In short: Our website and booking services are intended for parents, guardians, and other adults. We do not direct advertising to children.

Parents and guardians may provide information about their children, such as a child’s name and date of birth, when asking about programs, booking a visit, or enrolling. We use this information for the related childcare, eligibility, enrollment, and administrative purposes, with consent or as otherwise permitted by law. Children’s information is not included in our advertising measurement uploads.

We do not knowingly solicit information directly from children under 18 through our website. If you believe a child has submitted personal information directly without appropriate parental involvement, contact privacy@littletykesnj.com so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

8. WHAT ARE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS?

However, please note that this will not affect the lawfulness of the processing before its withdrawal, nor when applicable law allows, will it affect the processing of your personal information conducted in reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent.

Marketing messages. You can unsubscribe using the link in our marketing emails, follow any opt-out instructions in a marketing text, or contact us. Opting out of marketing does not stop necessary messages about your tour, enrollment inquiry, or childcare services.

Advertising measurement and contact-data sharing. You may decline optional contact-data sharing for advertising measurement where we request your permission. To withdraw permission or request that we stop future sharing of your contact information for advertising measurement, contact privacy@littletykesnj.com. Withdrawal does not undo processing already completed before your request.

Additional privacy rights. Depending on applicable law, including New Jersey law where it applies, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale of personal information, or certain profiling. Contact us to make a request or ask about an appeal of a decision on your request.

9. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this privacy notice.

10. DO CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS HAVE SPECIFIC PRIVACY RIGHTS?

In Short: Yes, if you are a resident of California, you are granted specific rights regarding access to your personal information.

California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the “Shine The Light” law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year.
